We’re hiring a friendly, organized Front Desk Associate to join our team — full-time preferred, with part-time considered. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, compliant, and efficient in-store experience. You’ll manage check-ins, phone calls, and patient flow while supporting the sales team behind the scenes.

This is a patient-facing, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and providing calm, professional service in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process

• Verify IDs, medical cards, and visitor passes in accordance with DC regulations

• Manage patient flow to support an efficient sales floor

• Answer phone calls and provide clear, accurate information to patients

• Assist patients with basic questions about the store, process, and policies

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant front desk area

• Communicate effectively with budtenders and managers during busy periods

• Support a collaborative, respectful team environment

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, reception, or retail (preferred but not required)

• Strong communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor

• Comfort using mobile devices and computers, including quickly assisting patients with applications on a smartphone and accurately entering information into systems

• Strong multitasking ability — comfortable managing check-ins, phone calls, and patient questions simultaneously

• High attention to detail and respect for handling sensitive information in a compliant environment

• Reliability and punctuality — this role is part of a small team and consistent attendance is essential

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work within a regulated medical cannabis setting

Compensation: $18/hour, based on experience, with opportunities for growth

We’re hiring a knowledgeable, friendly Budtender to join our team — full-time preferred, with part-time considered. You’ll guide patients through their cannabis experience with empathy, accuracy, and curiosity, whether they’re new to cannabis or longtime users.

We are an education-focused medical dispensary. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching and learning, values evidence-based recommendations, and is excited to go deeper than outdated indica/sativa generalizations — with a strong emphasis on terpenes, cannabinoid profiles, and consumption methods. This is a patient-facing, detail-oriented position for someone passionate about the plant and committed to thoughtful, responsible service.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients on product options using terpene profiles, cannabinoid content, and intended effects

• Guide patients through different consumption methods, dosing considerations, and use cases with clarity and care

• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sales floor

• Stay current on product offerings, terpene science, and evolving cannabis research and trends

• Assist with light inventory tasks, including restocking and basic inventory counts

• Support front desk and patient intake operations as needed, including check-ins and patient flow during busy periods

• Contribute to a collaborative, respectful team environment focused on learning and patient care

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred; cannabis experience is a plus

• Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach to service

• Genuine interest in learning cannabis science, including terpene and cannabinoid profiles
